Fullerton (10-1) at Redondo Beach Redondo Union (6-5), 7:30 p.m.

Redondo defeated a beat-up Pacifica team, 29-20, in the first round, while the Indians breezed past Covina Northview, 34-7. Fullerton has gotten rich off the legs of running backs John Wilkie (1,256 yards) and David Barrios (487 yards), but their trademark is defense--only three teams have scored in double figures against them, and none more than 16 points.

Los Amigos (9-2) vs. West Covina South Hills (7-4), Covina District Stadium, 7:30 p.m.

Los Amigos is getting some good breaks. The Lobos finished second in the Garden Grove League yet got a home game against a third-place team, Santa Maria Righetti, which it beat, 24-21. Now they play the at-large team, South Hills, which upset third-seeded Beverly Hills, 22-15. The Lobos are led by Greg Fausto, who has rushed for 1,213 yards, caught 36 passes for 438 yards and scored 16 touchdowns.

Sunny Hills (6-4-1) at Lompoc (10-1), 7:30 p.m.

The Lancers are averaging 18.4 points per game; Lompoc, seeded second, is averaging 20.4 in the first half. The long ride won’t help. Sunny Hills has won five of its last six, allowing only 13points per game over that span. Robert Oliver leads the Lancers in rushing with 614 yards, and Darren Solomon has 29 receptions for 338 yards.
