Laguna Hills (10-1) vs. Lake Elsinore Temescal Canyon (10-1), The Diamond, Lake Elsinore, 7:30 p.m.

Laguna Hills beat Temescal Canyon in the first round last year, 42-6, but will face a much better team tonight. The game will feature the Hawks’ running attack, led by sophomore standout Michael Jones, who has rushed for 2,112 yards and 24 touchdowns. Temescal Canyon favors the pass. Terry Hess has thrown for 1,354 yards and 21 touchdowns. Ben Horton has caught 43 passes for 718 yards and 15 touchdowns.
