Servite (9-2) vs. Santa Ana Valley (8-3), Santa Ana Stadium, 7:30 p.m.

After dismissing Irvine in the first round, the Falcons are ready for a tougher test. They will get that in Servite, the top-seeded team in the division. The Friars lost in the championship game last year to Newport Harbor, and already have a couple section titles on their resume. And Servite doesn’t just run the ball this year; Greg Cicero (1,741 yards, 24 touchdowns) has enjoyed one of the best passing seasons by a county quarterback not named Feterik. Running is Santa Ana Valley’s strength and the Falcons have two of the county’s better backs in Beau Wallace (1,243 yards, 19 touchdowns) and Leafi Naea (733 yards, six touchdowns).
