Boy, 5, Dies After Being Hit by Car
SANTA ANA —
A 5-year-old boy struck by a car in front of his home Thursday evening has died, Santa Ana police reported Friday.
Luis Tepos was declared dead late Thursday at Western Medical Center, police spokesman Bob Chavez said.
The boy suffered head injuries and possibly a broken hip after apparently stepping into traffic from between two parked cars on South Minnie Street. Police said the driver of the car that hit him has not been cited, but an investigation was continuing.
