THOUSAND OAKS : Arson Suspected in 2-Acre Brush Fire
Fire investigators are probing a two-acre brush fire they say was set by an arsonist early Tuesday morning in Thousand Oaks, county fire officials said.
Firefighters contained the blaze within 45 minutes about 1:10 a.m. The fire was lit in two places about one-half mile apart, said officials from the Ventura County Fire Department.
The fire, which burned in the area of Lawrence Drive and Rancho Conejo Boulevard, caused no structural damage, fire officials said. There were no injuries.
