Joey Buttafuoco hurriedly left jail for home Friday after serving 78 days for his second sex-related offense.

Buttafuoco was sent to jail for violating probation by soliciting sex from an undercover police officer on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood.

The owner of an auto body repair shop found notoriety in May, 1992, after his wife was shot and seriously wounded on the doorstep of their Long Island home. Two days later, police arrested Amy Fisher, then 17, who was having an affair with Buttafuoco.
