Calabasas : Vehicle, 2 Victims of Fatal Wreck Found
A public works crew on Wednesday discovered a car that apparently skidded off the road sometime last week, plunging down a hillside and killing its two occupants, Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies said.
The battered car and bodies of Shawna Yager of Malibu and Stella Martinez of North Hollywood were found about 60 feet below the intersection of Mulholland Highway and Las Virgenes Road about 8:20 a.m., Sheriff’s Sgt. John Galbraith said.
Details of the crash remain sketchy, Galbraith said, but from evidence at the scene officials said it appears the car was traveling about 80 mph when it skidded over the side.
