A bicyclist who rode in front of a vehicle was struck and killed early Monday, investigators said.
Francisco Rodriguez Cervantes, 30, of Garden Grove was pedaling out of a driveway when he rode into the path of a sedan heading north on Haster Street near Cliffwood Avenue at about 35 mph, traffic investigator Rick Alexander said.
Rodriguez was killed when he was thrown into the car’s windshield and then to the ground, Alexander said. Rodriguez, he said, was not wearing a helmet.
The 25-year-old driver of the sedan was not cited.
