Reader Says Decision Wasn’t a ‘Whitewash’

Share

Let me see if I understand the situation. The attorney representing the two Centennial High football players who accused a referee of using a racial epithet--this as an excuse for one of them having slugged the referee--refuses to allow either of the boys or the Centennial coach to talk to any of the CIF investigators, but then calls the 75-page CIF report--which completely exonerated the referee--a “whitewash” because the CIF reached its conclusion “without talking to either of the players who were directly involved.” Say what?

The only whitewash here is that of attorney Leo Terrell via his disgusting but all-too-familiar ploy to have his client evade responsibility for his own actions by shifting the blame elsewhere.
