Tarzana Worker Killed at LAX
A 45-year-old Tarzana construction worker was crushed to death Thursday at a work site in Los Angeles International Airport, officials said.
The man, whose name was not released pending notification of relatives, was run over by a grading machine and dragged about 100 feet between runways at the western tip of LAX about 12:40 p.m., Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey said.
The man died a short time later at a local hospital.
