Laker update--Cedric Ceballos sat out practice Wednesday and is questionable for tonight because of a bruised knee suffered in a third-quarter collision Tuesday against the Celtics. With both former backups, George Lynch and Fred Roberts, having fallen out of the rotation, Coach Del Harris could use a small lineup if Ceballos does not play, Eddie Jones moves to the frontcourt and Anthony Peeler steps into the starting lineup. The Lakers have won seven in a row at the Forum, their longest home winning streak since Nov. 14, 1990-Feb. 13, 1991.
Spur update--Their six-game winning streak was broken Tuesday at Sacramento. Having gone through Carl Herrera and Greg Anderson at power forward--Dennis Rodman’s old spot--without much success, San Antonio has used two unlikely starters the last seven games, Will Perdue and Chuck Person.
