Studio City : Drivers Urged to Avoid Area Being Repaved
A street repaving project is underway on Moorpark Street between Coldwater Canyon and Dixie Canyon avenues.
The city Bureau of Street Maintenance began the project Dec. 26 and is scheduled to complete the work Feb. 1. Motorists are advised to avoid the area between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m., when laborers will be working, said Dennis Harding, a bureau manager.
Harding recommended using Ventura Boulevard as an alternative route, as traffic on Moorpark will be restricted to one lane in each direction during the work hours.
