Pedestrian Hit by Bus, Killed
NORTH HOLLYWOOD —
A pedestrian was killed Friday when he was struck by a bus in the vicinity of the Hollywood Freeway at the Riverside Drive offramp, the California Highway Patrol said. The accident happened at about 7 p.m.
Carlos Garcia, 18, was airlifted to Northridge Hospital Medical Center, where he died, a nursing supervisor said. No further details were available, the CHP said.
