The Playoffs

Pittsburgh 40, Buffalo 21: The Steelers jumped out to a 23-7 halftime lead, O’Donnell passed for 262 yards and Morris rushed for 106 yards and two touchdowns.

Pittsburgh 20, Indianapolis 16: The Colts’ Aaron Bailey failed to hold on to Jim Harbaugh’s Hail Mary pass in the end zone as time expired, sending the Steelers back to the Super Bowl for the first time since 1980.

Steelers Will Win If. . .

They can slap a fake beard on Steve Young and a mustache on Jerry Rice and slip them unnoticed into black-and-gold uniforms as O’Donnell and Thigpen. Should that fail, they have two choices: 1) let the NFL’s No. 2 ranked run defense shut down Emmitt Smith, get Greg Lloyd really mad at Troy Aikman and hope Barry Switzer starts calling defensive signals for the Cowboys, or 2) in lieu of getting clobbered, demand a one-on-one, winner-take-all Battle of the Superstars between Kordell Stewart and Deion Sanders.
