3.8 Aftershock Rattles San Fernando Valley
The latest of nearly 13,000 aftershocks of the 1994 Northridge earthquake, registering magnitude 3.8, was felt widely through the San Fernando Valley at 10:34 a.m. Tuesday, Caltech seismologists said.
Neither damage nor injuries were reported from the jolt centered four miles northwest of San Fernando. It was the strongest Northridge aftershock this year.
