Police arrested two men early Wednesday in connection with a burglary at a computer store, authorities said.

Officers responding to a burglar alarm heard voices inside Advanced Spine Fixation Systems, in the 11000 block of Knott Avenue, about 2:40 a.m., Police Lt. John Schaefer said in a prepared statement.

“Officers on the perimeter could also see illuminated flashlights moving about inside the business,” Schaefer said.

As a perimeter was being set up, a man walked out the front door; he fled when police ordered him to surrender, Schaefer said. David Vasquez, 30, of Anaheim was arrested after a short pursuit.

Officers then arrested a second man, Thomas Allen Boone, 33, of Buena Park. Inside, police found a dolly loaded with computer equipment. Further investigation revealed that the men had forced open a door at an adjacent business and cut a hole in the wall to gain access to Advanced Spine Fixation Systems, Schaefer said.

Vasquez and Boone were charged with commercial burglary and were being held at Orange County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail each.
