Favre’s Sign Is a Roadside Distraction

A roadside sign that advertises the Mississippi hometown of Green Bay Packer quarterback Brett Favre showed up recently in Watertown, Wis.

The green sign disappeared from a highway at the outskirts of Kiln, Miss.--population 1,500.

Watertown police were told a Packer fan, visiting in the Kiln area, had been given the sign by tavern acquaintances.

The placard has been shipped back to the Mississippi Highway Department--and Kiln is on the U.S. map again.
