Woodbridge, Senior
Basketball/Forward
Pearson has always been known as a strong defender and prolific scorer, but until this season, Woodbridge Coach Pat Quinn said, she wasn’t a great rebounder. She averaged about nine this season, but last week outdid herself. Thursday, she had 17 rebounds, 22 points, six assists and four blocks in an 81-52 victory over Santee Santana. “She went after the ball like a Dennis Rodman, like that’s what she does for a living,” Quinn said. She also had 14 rebounds--and 23 points--in a 53-45 victory over Brea Olinda in the Division II regional final.
