The nascent Hollywood Entertainment Museum has leased nearly 33,000 square feet of space in the lower level of the Hollywood Galaxy complex on Hollywood Boulevard. The Community Redevelopment Agency recently approved a $2-million loan for the new site, which will house original TV and movie sets and props, as well as interactive exhibits. . . . Fox-TV has scheduled a summer premiere for “L.A. Fire,” a one-hour action drama about a group of young firefighters and paramedics. Production on the series begins next month. . . . Priority Records will mark the one-year anniversary of the death of rapper Eric “Eazy-E” Wright on Tuesday by donating $25,000 to Caring for Babies With AIDS. Wright died March 26, 1995, of complications of AIDS. . . . Comedian Jim Carrey has been tapped to host the season finale of “Saturday Night Live” on May 18, with Soundgarden as the musical guest. Since Carrey is commanding $20 million per movie, we assume working for scale isn’t a problem.
