Rockford Industries Names Sales Executive

Kenneth Vancini has joined Rockford Industries Inc., a Santa Ana finance company, as senior vice president of sales, a new position. Before joining the company, Vancini was vice president of national sales for the leasing services division of AT&T; Capital.

Stanley Clark has been named to the new position of chief operating officer for Boyds Wheels Inc., a Stanton designer and manufacturer of aluminum wheels for the specialty automotive and motorcycle aftermarkets. He will supervise all manufacturing, sales and financial matters. Clark was previously vice president and general manager for the Automotive Wheels division of Titan Wheel International Inc.

T. Michael Henderson has been appointed director of strategic accounts of sales for Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc. in Tustin. Henderson was formerly president of International Medical Resources Inc. Before that, he was vice president of project finance for the Linc Group in Chicago. Henderson has also held senior management positions with Chicago Radiographics and Linc Medical Equipment.

Thomas Kochevar has joined Survivair Inc. in Santa Ana as regional sales manager. He will represent and supervise the Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois and Eastern Missouri territories. Kochevar was formerly Midwest/central regional manager for Standard Safety Equipment Co. Survivair designs and manufactures respiratory and life support equipment.

Larry Sullens has been named vice president of sales operations for Ingram Micro Inc., a Santa Ana wholesale distributor of microcomputer products. Sullens was previously senior director of customer service. In addition, Robert Bennett was appointed director of sales for the company’s Enterprise Computing division. Before joining Ingram Micro, Bennett was director of government services at Gates Arrow Distributing in Greensboro, S.C.

Royce A. Sharf has been named managing director of Julien J. Studley Inc., a national commercial real estate firm. Sharf, who has been with the company nine years, heads the Orange County division.

Virginia McDonald has joined Communicore, a medical communications company, as general manager and group client director of the Newport Beach operation. McDonald was formerly vice president of public relations for Esprit Communications, and director of public relations for Wakeman & deForrest and Northstar Communications, all in Orange County.

Jeffrey A. Thrash has been appointed vice president of the new Behavioral Health Services division for United Western Medical Centers in Santa Ana. Thrash had been chief executive of Charter Hospital in Mission Viejo, and before that, chief executive of CPC Belmont Hospital in San Francisco.

George Argyros has been reelected chairman of the Orange County Business Committee for the Arts. He is chairman and chief executive of Arnel & Affiliates. Donald P. Kennedy, chairman of First American Title Insurance Co., was named chairman-elect.

William T. Cloake has joined Unit Instruments Inc. as director of quality. Cloake’s experience includes 12 years at CalComp, where he was engineering manager, director of quality assurance and director of operations. Unit Instruments in Yorba Linda is a manufacturer of mass flow controllers for the semiconductor industry.

Bradley S. Karro has been named president and chief executive of MaterniCare Inc., a Laguna Hills company that manages obstetric and gynecologic physician groups. Karro was formerly president and chief operating officer of Beech Street Corp., a managed care organization. Before that, he was assistant vice president at Mulberry Street Investment Co.

Barbara Daly has joined Gladstone International in Irvine as account manager. Before joining the public relations firm, she handled press relations and issues management for Orange County Supervisor Don Saltarelli.
