Free Trolley Service Offered to Area Voters
Hoping to boost turnout at the polls, the Ojai Trolley Service will offer free rides Tuesday to seven polling places in Ojai and Meiners Oaks.
Passengers who show a ballot stub after voting will be allowed to board the trolley at no cost and will be given a free token for their next trolley ride.
The polling places along the trolley route are at: Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 1212 Maricopa Highway; Ojai Presbyterian Church, at Foothill Road and Aliso Street; Grey Gables of Ojai retirement community, at Grand Avenue and Montgomery Street; Adult/Community Educational School, 414 E. Ojai Ave.; First Baptist Church, 930 Grand Ave.; Ojai Church of the Living Christ, 190 E. El Roblar Drive; and the Meiners Oaks Water District office, 202 W. El Roblar Drive.
