10 Years Ago Today . . .
. . . A 26-year-old El Toro woman bitten by a 12-foot-long python escaped serious injury when four friends cut off the snake’s head. They had been unable to pry its jaws loose from her neck.
“If no one had been here, the snake definitely would have killed her,” one of them said. “The snake had such a hold on her, she could never have gotten loose.”
