Temporary Airport Manager Appointed
Assistant City Engineer Don Hoppe has been appointed acting director of Fullerton Municipal Airport.
Airport Director Roland Elder died last month. Hoppe, 42, will fill the vacancy until a permanent replacement is found, city officials said.
Hoppe, of Placentia, has been employed by the city for 14 years. He was hired as an assistant civil engineer and promoted to associate civil engineer in 1983. In 1986 he became a senior civil engineer, and in 1992 he began serving as assistant city engineer.
