BASEBALL DAILY REPORT : Reds Cough Up Cash for Scores
Out-of-town baseball updates were back on the Riverfront Stadium scoreboard Friday after the Cincinnati Reds renewed their SportsTicker service.
Owner Marge Schott had canceled the score service, which costs $350 a month, to save money. A local bank offered Friday to pay the SportsTicker cost in exchange for an advertising plug. The Reds chose to pay for the service themselves, a club spokesman said.

New York Met pitcher Bill Pulsipher, 22, will undergo season-ending surgery on his left elbow Wednesday to repair a torn ligament.
