Simi Valley High-Jumper Shaw on Her Way to Brown

Share

Natalie Shaw of Simi Valley High, the 1993 and ’94 Ventura County champion in the girls’ high jump, will attend Brown University.

Shaw has also run cross-country and played soccer for the Pioneers, but Simi Valley girls’ track Coach Roger Evans said she will probably focus on track in college.

With bests of 5 feet 4 inches in the high jump, 58.70 seconds in the 400 meters and 2:24.8 in the 800, Shaw has the makings of a heptathlete.
