Students Arrested After Fight at School
Several Ventura and Buena high school students were arrested early Thursday after getting into a fight at Buena High School.
Two Ventura High truants, who went to Buena High to visit their girlfriends about 9 a.m., were involved in a fight with Buena High students who objected to the Ventura High boys being on campus, according to the Ventura Police Department.
Alerted that non-Buena students were on campus and a fight was brewing, several Buena High staff members broke up the fight. The students ran from the staff but were caught a short distance off campus.
No one was injured in the fight.
The two Ventura High School teens, whose names were not released by authorities, were arrested on suspicion of trespassing on school grounds and fighting on school grounds, cited and released to their parents.
One Buena High boy, who was unidentified by authorities, was arrested on suspicion of fighting on school grounds, cited and released to his parents.
