1 Killed in Head-On Collision in Oxnard

OXNARD — One person was killed Thursday night in a head-on collision in Oxnard, police said.
Two cars were involved in the 8:50 p.m. accident on Rice Avenue near Celsius Avenue, police said.
One driver died and the other driver was taken to St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard. Authorities did not release the names of the victims.
