Two boys abandoned by their father at a downtown Los Angeles church are expected to remain in a foster home in Lynwood for at least the next few weeks.

Schuyler Sprowles, a spokesman for the county Department of Social Services, said the department will recommend today in Los Angeles Juvenile Dependency Court that Steven Bouchy, 6, and his brother Kenny, 5, remain in the foster home until a determination can be made about where to send them. The boys were left Sunday night at St. Joseph Church with a note from their father, Kenneth Bouchy, 35, saying he could not take care of them and he wanted the boys sent to their grandmother in Denver.
