This time, it took Jeremy Williams longer than 10 seconds. But not much longer.
Williams (26-1, 23 knockouts) scored a TKO victory over Vince Boulware (29-9-1, 19 knockouts) Tuesday night when referee Jay Nady stopped their scheduled 10-round main event 33 seconds into the second round at Arizona Charlie’s Hotel and Casino.
Williams, a Long Beach heavyweight, had scored the fastest knockout in state history in his last bout, stopping Arthur Weathers in 10 seconds.
Williams knocked Boulware down in the first round Tuesday, had him in trouble again at the bell and then finished him off in the second with a right uppercut.
