Transient’s Body Is Discovered in a Westminster Alley
A woman believed to be a transient was found dead from head trauma in a dirt alleyway Friday morning, police said.
The woman’s body, which had not been identified by late Friday, was discovered behind a fast-food taco shop in the 13700 block of Golden West Street, police said. She appeared to have suffered blunt trauma to her head, said Sgt. Derek Marsh.
“Right now, we’re investigating it as a homicide,” Marsh said.
Police were interviewing a man who was known to associate with the woman and may have been with her when she died, Marsh said.
