Slain Boy Had Predicted That He Would Die Young
A 15-year-old boy who predicted his own early death in a British documentary about post-riot Los Angeles was shot and killed in Leimert Park, police said Wednesday.
Enis Beley died shortly before 5 p.m. Tuesday at UCLA Medical Center after being shot while walking with a girl near the intersection of 50th Street and 8th Avenue, said Officer Don Cox of the Los Angeles Police Department.
One of two people who had driven up behind the couple got out, shouted gang epithets and opened fire, Cox said.
