Talk, Demonstration Set on Film Restoration

James Katz and Robert Harris will lead a discussion and demonstration on film restoration Friday at 8 p.m. followed by a screening of Alfred Hitchcock’s “Rope” (1948) and “The Man Who Knew Too Much” (1956), at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, 5905 Wilshire Blvd.
Katz and Harris are currently restoring Hitchcock’s 1958 classic “Vertigo.”
Tickets are $4 for museum and AFI members and students; $6 for all others.
