Offering hundreds of new and used items, the Salvation Army will hold a daylong parking lot sale Sunday at its Van Nuys location.

Proceeds from the event, scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., will benefit the Adult Rehabilitation Center, an 85-bed drug and alcohol treatment program that is free of charge, said spokeswoman Leslie-Anne Quinn.

Items available at Sunday’s outdoor sale will include bicycles, tools, glassware, clothing, toys and housewares. In addition, the Salvation Army’s thrift store will also be open.
