Magnitude-3.3 Quakes Rattle Inland Counties
Two mild earthquakes, both measuring magnitude 3.3, rattled inland Southern California on Sunday morning, Caltech seismologists reported. Neither caused any damage.
The first quake, at 5:53 a.m., was centered five miles northeast of Banning in Riverside County. The second, at 8:38 a.m., was centered 10 miles southwest of Shoshone in Inyo County.
