Titans 70th in All-Sports Standings
Cal State Fullerton finished 70th and led the Big West Conference for the third consecutive year in the Sears Directors Cup national all-sports standings.
The standings are based on team finishes in NCAA championship events for men and women. This past year, the Titans tied for ninth nationally in softball, tied for 17th in baseball, and were 27th in women’s gymnastics, 28th in fencing and 47th in wrestling.
Fullerton had 186.5 points compared to 961.5 for first-place Stanford. Among other Big West teams, San Jose State ranked 71st, UC Santa Barbara 77th, Nevada Las Vegas 84th and Long Beach State 90th.
