Redskins Cut James Washington
Veteran safety James Washington, a hero in consecutive Super Bowl victories for the Dallas Cowboys, was cut by the Washington Redskins and indicated he might retire.
Washington, 31, was signed last year as a free agent and started 12 games at strong safety.
