Lakers Keep Bolstering Lineup by Signing Former Bruin Wilson

Free-agent forward Trevor Wilson, who appeared in five games with the Lakers at the beginning of the 1993-94 season, signed a contract with the team Thursday.

Wilson, 28, played in six games with the Philadelphia 76ers last December, averaging 3.8 points and 2.3 rebounds. He began the season in France before attending training camp with the Seattle SuperSonics.

Following a brief stint with the 76ers, Wilson completed the season in the Continental Basketball Assn., averaging 14.1 points and 6.6 rebounds with Chicago and Sioux Falls.

Wilson, a 6-foot-8, 215-pounder, played at UCLA before Atlanta took him in the second round of the NBA draft in 1990. He has played parts of four seasons with the Hawks, Lakers, Sacramento Kings and 76ers. In his five games with the Lakers, Wilson averaged 10.2 points and 5.6 rebounds.
