Ohio State Center Will Have Surgery
Ohio State center Juan Porter, a starter the past top seasons, will undergo arthroscopic surgery to repair a torn cartilage in his left knee, the university said.
Porter twisted the knee during Saturday’s intrasquad scrimmage. He underwent a magnetic resonance imaging test on Sunday to determine the extent of the damage.
A school official said Porter will be operated on today at Ohio State University Medical Center. Doctors will repair a tear in the lateral meniscus cartilage.
