Nebraska linebacker Terrell Farley has been indefinitely suspended from the top-ranked football team after being arrested on suspicion of drunken driving early Friday morning. “We will gather more information before making a final determination as to what we will do in Terrell’s case,” Cornhusker Coach Tom Osborne said in a statement. . . . Running back Danyell Ferguson and receiver Yatil Green have been suspended for 11th-ranked Miami’s opener today at Memphis. The two starters have been under investigation for reportedly accepting rides in a limousine ordered through the office of a sports agent. . . . Clemson defensive end Trevor Pryce has been suspended for two games because of an unspecified NCAA rules violation. . . . Boise State running back Marlin Carey was declared ineligible.
