Man Killed When Car Goes Off Road

FILLMORE — An unidentified man was killed Friday after his car went off the road near California 23 south of Fillmore, authorities said.
The CHP received a call of a single-car crash on Guiberson Road four miles east of California 23 at about 8:30 p.m. Officers found the car and the male victim about 9:15 p.m., said a patrol spokeswoman.
Officers at the scene reported that the victim appeared to have been at the scene “for some time,” she added.
An investigation was continuing late Friday night.
