Husband Turns Into Traffic; Wife Killed
A 58-year-old woman was killed Friday when her husband made a left turn at an intersection in front of oncoming traffic and struck three vehicles, California Highway Patrol officials said.
Rosalie and Robert Vitale, 58, who were visiting California from Nanticoke, Pa., were traveling on Moulton Parkway when he reportedly turned left into a pickup truck, a van and another vehicle.
She died at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center. Her husband, the 36-year-old driver of the van and the van’s passenger were taken to the hospital with injuries.
