Imperial Highway Work Starts Monday

A 7,000-foot stretch of one of the city’s main thoroughfares, Imperial Highway, will be reduced to one lane beginning Monday for a long-planned Caltrans construction project.
The construction, from Berry Street to Harbor Boulevard, is expected to run through the end of October, city officials said. Hours of construction, which includes stripping the road and repaving it, will be from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. on weekdays.
