Four-Vehicle Crash Leaves Woman Injured
An Irvine woman was in critical condition Thursday after a four-vehicle crash at the southbound Culver Drive exit of the Santa Ana Freeway, police said.
Linda Jura, 48, was taken to Western Medical Center-Santa Ana after the 1:25 p.m. accident, Irvine police said.
A truck driven by 43-year-old Robert Welliver of Aliso Viejo was northbound on Culver Drive, traveling about 45 mph, when it rear-ended Jura’s van, which was stopped for the red light at the freeway.
Jura’s van crashed into a pickup truck driven by Don Moak, 46, of Aliso Viejo. He was taken to Irvine Medical Center complaining of pain.
Jura’s van also struck another car, but that driver was uninjured, police said.
No arrests or citations have been issued, and the investigation is continuing.
