Ballot Initiatives Topic of Chamber Luncheon

In an effort to educate the public, the the League of Women Voters will discuss the initiatives on the November ballot during a luncheon today.
The league, a national nonpartisan group, will present the initiatives and discuss their merits and drawbacks at the Woodland Hills Chamber of Commerce luncheon.
The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. at the Warner Center Marriott, 21850 Oxnard St.
The meeting is one of several gatherings at which league members distribute information, as well as gather opinions on various issues, chamber officials said.
Admission to the luncheon and discussion is $16 for chamber members and $26 for nonmembers at the door.
