2 Forums Are Today for Council Candidates
City Council candidates will gather today for two election forums open to the public.
The first event will be at 2:30 p.m. in the Costa Mesa Senior Center, 695 W. 19th St., where each candidate will give a short position speech. Questions and answers from the audience will follow. Seniors Actively Giving Enrichment, a social group, organized the event.
A second forum, sponsored by the Latino Leadership Council, will follow at 6 p.m. at the West Side Police Substation, 567 W. 18th St. Candidates will make opening remarks and answer questions.
