King update--None of the six injured players is ready to return to the lineup. Forward Craig Johnson and defenseman Steven Finn, who have not played this season, resumed skating Monday and appear to be closest to returning, possibly as early as Thursday against Boston. Petr Klima, who missed Saturday’s game because of flu, practiced Monday and is ready to return. Defenseman Rob Blake has an assist in each of the last five games. He last scored on Oct. 12, 1995, in a 7-7 tie against Vancouver, eight days before he suffered a season-ending knee injury.

Flyer update--Since defeating the Kings in overtime Thursday, little has gone right for the Flyers. In consecutive losses to the New York Islanders and the Calgary Flames, the Flyers managed to score one goal. In five games this season, Philadelphia has scored 10 goals, and five of those were in the 5-4 overtime victory over the Kings. Eric Lindros has not played and won’t play tonight. Lindros, out because of a pulled right groin, has been cleared to resume skating later this week and could return to the lineup by the weekend. Also injured are center Joel Otto (bruised ribs) and left wing Scott Daniels (sprained right wrist).
