Rhode Island Forfeit Ruled No Contest

Rhode Island’s forfeit of this Saturday’s game at Connecticut has been declared a ‘no contest,’ meaning neither team will receive a win or a loss--a possible first in NCAA history, officials said.
Rhode Island President Robert Carothers announced last week that the Rams would forfeit as punishment against players who beat up three fraternity brothers on Oct. 7.
