Bishop Diego 10, Moorpark 6--Not enough time and offense demolished any chance for the Musketeers (4-4) to pull off an upset victory at Bishop Diego (6-1-1).
With three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, the desperate Moorpark coaching staff called in the old fumblerooski play. Left guard Jeff Donabedian gained 49 yards, giving the Musketeers less than one minute to drive 20 yards.
On the final play of the game, with the ball on the seven yard line and 20 seconds left, Moorpark could not get lined up in the formation called by the coaches and time expired before the ball was snapped.
Running back Art Garcia led Moorpark with 52 yards in 17 carries with one touchdown.
