New Zealand 51, Cal State Fullerton 46--Kristin Sigg scored 18 points for the host Titans, who were outscored, 27-21, in the first half. Fullerton shot 34% from the field; New Zealand shot 40%.
In nonconference water polo:
UC Irvine 14, Long Beach State 8--Omar Amry scored five goals and Jeff Andrews had three for Irvine (13-6), ranked fifth in the nation, at Heritage Park. Freshman Brian Brown had six points, including two two-point goals for Long Beach (7-14).
