It was Galindo’s first victory in five races against Hernandez, who was considered a favorite to win the state championships at Fresno’s Woodward Park on Nov. 23.

Francisco Sandoval placed fourth in 20:30 for Moorpark, and teammates Juan Cortes (20:52), Sabino Betran (20:53) and Jesus Villavicencio (20:56) placed seventh, eighth and ninth to give the Raiders 30 points.
